2Checkout has partnered with Bigcommerce, a leading SMB and enterprise software provider of e-commerce solutions, to enable merchants to seamlessly accept payments from any country in the world. Through the collaboration, Bigcommerce clients can securely adapt to local languages, currencies and payment methods with a single integration. Merchants currently using 2Checkout will have direct access to build their business with Bigcommerce’s robust e-commerce platform.
2Checkout maximizes online sales conversions by giving global buyers localized payment options. The solution provides top-tier security and fraud prevention as well as 24/7 support. In addition, its checkout experience is optimized for mobiles. Over 50,000 merchants are linked to the company. 2Checkout supports transactions in 196 countries through eight payment methods, 26 currencies and 15 languages. Through the partnership, Bigcommerce merchants can select 2Checkout as their payment provider in the control panel and can set up a fully-integrated solution in minutes.

Bigcommerce provides e-commerce software solutions and shopping cart software for online businesses. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the company was founded by Mitchell Harper, Eddie Machaalani in 2009. Bigcommerce has offices in Sydney, Australia, as well as in San Francisco. The company has raised $125 million in venture capital and has more than 350 employees.
2Checkout's integration will serve Bigcommerce's 95,000 clients across 100 countries, eliminating the complexity around international payments.

Two months ago, Bigcommerce partnered with PayPal to offer a seamless checkout experience for customers. The integration allows customers to pay across 90,000 online stores powered by Bigcommerce with a convenience of entering user IDs or passwords only in the first login. The partnership also allows customers to checkout through PayPal’s One Touch feature for mobile and the Web.
As PayPal is a trusted payment processor in the world, the partnership poses a big win for Bigcommerce to reduce cart abandonment by customers. Cart abandonment generally takes place due to the lack of confidence in the merchant’s ability to handle credit card and other sensitive information. PayPal’s One Touch feature helps Bigcommerce in providing a smooth checkout process to its customers.
