At Let’s Talk Payments, we cover what’s happening in accelerator programs, awards and prominent events around the world. We have also been covering FinovateSpring in person and writing about it. Now, we’re happy to let you know that the FinovateSpring 2015 winners have been announced. Here is the list:
Alpha Payments Cloud: Selected as a winner for AlphaHub, its omni-channel solution access platform that helps banks, merchants, MSPs, and ISOs gain access to any solution provider in the world. Alpha Payments Cloud connects acquirers, merchants and product providers on one platform through the APC Product Hub.
Avoka: Selected as a winner for Avoka Transact for Financial Services. It combines social, cloud services and crowdsourcing into the world’s fastest credit card application.
Money Amigo: Selected as a winner for its technology that brings financial services to the underbanked and underserved, delivering traditional banking products in an innovative way.
Moven: Selected as a winner for its Moven Financial Health Platform that provides real time contextualized notifications and interactions that create “gamified money moments.” Moven is a real time mobile money tool that lets individuals spend money from their mobile device and provides instant feedback on their transactions and spending patterns. It works as a debit account that tracks the user’s money for them instantly. Thus, it provides them with the information they need to spend, save and live smarter. Moven acts just like a bank account with features like free account, free ATMs, pay friends, transfer money, FDIC-insured & tap to pay. It can be used on any Android or iOS mobile device.
NAMU Systems: Selected as a winner for its “Joyful Banking” which uses new and intelligent behavioural modeling to focus on customer behavior and digital experiences to create a new standard in mobile banking. The NAMU app lets people enjoy social banking by viewing photos and posts connected to a transaction, tracking daily transactions with a calendar linked to social networks and searching financial history at once without switching accounts. NAMU provides its service as a mobile application and cloud-based server to banks and other financial entities, including issuers of debit cards. By using the NAMU application, bank customers and debit card users can manage their accounts through the LiveBank platform.
Shoeboxed: Selected as a winner for its “Receipt Capture for Banks” solution which boosts the functionality of online and mobile banking apps while providing fraud protection.
Stratos: Selected as a winner for its dynamic Stratos Bluetooth-Connected Card and Digital Card Issuance Platform that analyzes card usage trends and interactively engages card members. Stratos is developing an all-in-one, connected credit card and wishes to disrupt the credit card industry. The proposed Stratos card would allow users to load credit as well as loyalty cards onto the smart card. It would even enable its use in an ATM.
At LTP, we do something very similar called LTP9. LTP9 is the proprietary leaderboard framework from Let’s Talk Payments representing the nine leading companies in the payments and commerce-related category. It provides a quick reference; a snapshot of companies in the category with the highest impact, the largest market momentum and significant product focus for carefully selected categories across the payments ecosystem.
