On 15th May 2014, platform provider of mobile proximity marketing, mobile wallet and payment solutions – Proxama - announced that they had partnered with HID Global to create a solution that enables rapid deployment of secure mobile web based loyalty and coupon schemes.
The level of security delivered by HID Trusted Tag Services was previously available only on downloadable mobile applications, stated Neil Garner, CEO, Proxama, in a press release. This partnership allows us to offer our retailers easy and highly secure web-based loyalty and rewards programmes. It creates an alternative to mobile apps that delivers easier participation and a more rewarding consumer experience.'
Recently, Proxama also entered into an agreement with Dot Origin, the specialist distributor and developer of Near Field Communication (NFC) tags, devices and solutions, to deliver a digital signage solution that links NFC tags to dynamic video content for advertisers and media site owners.
This is an exciting opportunity for media owners. By integrating with Dot Origin’s specially designed hardware we are now enabling dynamic NFC engagement for digital signage. With TapPoint®, brands can change the mobile ads shown depending on the profile of individual, location and currently displayed screen content, Neil Garner, CEO and founder of Proxama, had stated in a press release. In addition, brands and media owners will be able tailor their screen content to optimise engagement through their ability to measure who, when, where and how consumers are engaging, he added.
