Recently, Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities-management solutions in the GCC, entered into an agreement with trade-facilitation entity Dubai trade to use the trade facilitator's Rosoom online payment gateway. The agreement was signed by Mahmood Al Bastaki, CEO of Dubai Trade, and Jamal Lootah, CEO of Imdaad, according to a press release.
With this union, Imdaad’s nearly 2,900 clients can now use Imdaad’s portal, powered by Dubai Trade’s Rosoom, to process payment for services rendered via multiple payment options, including major credit cards; direct debit, by linking to the online Internet banking portals of major banks, and prepaid instruments, such as e-Dirham, according to the release.
Imdaad’s new e-services portal, on the other hand, enables its users to make inquiries on work orders and invoices and to make payments online, eliminating the need for them to visit Imdaad’s customer-service centers or make phone calls for their transactions.
The new collaboration displays financial-management companies’ increasing focus on offering innovative solutions that use the latest technologies.
Dubai Trade launched Rosoom in mid-2008 as the electronic-payment gateway to facilitate online payments and the faster adoption of more than 720 e-services on its portal. It serves as the only online payment gateway for major entities such as DP World, JAFZA, TechnoPark, Dubai Auto Zone, Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Palm District Cooling.
“Our strategic partnership with Dubai Trade reflects our strong commitment to make our services accessible round-the-clock for our customers,” Lootah said in a press release. “Dubai Trade’s ‘Rosoom’ platform is easy to use and designed to enhance the user’s experience. Our customers will also be able to access information in real time. This one-stop shop is aimed at meeting our customers’ expectations and unique requirements to make the payments easier.”
About Imdaad Imdaad is well recognized for its quality-driven FM solutions and strong commitment to sustainability. Established initially as a civil-engineering division handling AC maintenance and other FM services in 1986, the company became an independent business unit in 2007. For nearly 30 years the company has expanded its scope to include waste management, pest control, sewage services, the environment, and health and safety.
“It is our honor to have Imdaad integrated with our secured e-payment gateway, Rosoom,” said Al Bastaki. “This unique feature provides flexibility for the bill payers and allows Imdaad to offer the payment options that best suit their customers’ needs, which at the end save their time and efforts.”
