July 18, 2016 - Shanghai - IndiaLends, one of India's leading FinTech startups, won the 2016 PitchIt @ LendIt event held on July 17 & 18, 2016 in Shanghai. IndiaLends was one of the eight finalists from across the world to pitch their startup at LendIt, the world's largest conference series dedicated to connecting the lending community. It was judged as the winner for its plans to expand credit to underserved customer segments in India and for its innovative products and services such as the IndiaLends Free Credit Score and Analytics App.
PitchIt is one of the most premiere FinTech events organized globally by LendIt and has an audience of over 3,000 attendees ever year, consisting of FinTech startup founders, investors, regulators and financial media professionals. This year's finalists pitched to a panel of judges from esteemed venture capital firms such as Sequoia Capital, IDG Capital, Silicon Valley, and Innovation Works. Finalists are judged based on the strength of their teams, market opportunity, strong financials, strategy and the quality of their presentations.
