Citizens Bank has announced the launch of Clearly Better Business Checking, Tuesday, September 1st, in a press release by the company. The program, designed as a part of its Bank Better initiative, which is focused on making banking simple, clear and personal. The Clearly Better Business Checking account offers the value of a simple checking solution for small business customers.
The number one thing we hear from small business owners is that they want financial products that help them spend less time managing their finances and more time focusing on running their businesses, said Quincy Miller, President of Business Banking at Citizens Bank. With no need to monitor account activity for monthly maintenance fees or minimum balance requirements, Clearly Better Business Checking makes it easier for these business owners to focus on serving their customers and growing their businesses.
The minimum amount required to open an account is $100, but there are no minimum balance requirements. Clearly Better Business Checking offers no maintenance fee or minimum balance requirement with the account. Small business owners can also make up to 200 transactions per statement period without incurring any transaction fees and 50¢ per additional check transaction which includes checks deposited, paid or cashed within the statement period.
