PayUbiz, a payment gateway provider in India, has unveiled "One Tap" technology, which will make payments through credit and debit cards easier by just tapping once on the screen.
One Tap technology is a combination of four different tech innovations that together provide a seamless online payments experience, the company's statement said. The store card feature ensures that the consumers do not have to go through the pain of putting in the 16-digit card number repeatedly. The first-factor authentication of putting the CVV each time while making an online payment is dispelled by the No-CVV feature.
We are working with other partner e-commerce companies to get this live as soon as possible on their platforms. Some of the other apps where users will experience it in next few weeks are PepperTap, redBus, Goibibo, Grofers, BigBasket, JustDial, Xiaomi, Musafir and Nearbuy, Rahul Kothari, Business Head at PayUbiz, said in a press release.
PayU India rebranded both its products PayU Enterprise and PayUmoney to establish them as clear independent businesses. As per the recent rebranding initiative, PayU Enterprise is now called PayUbiz with a blue-colored logo while the logo of PayUmoney switches colors from blue to green. PayUbiz is used by large enterprises such as Snapdeal, Jabong, BookMyShow, Ola, Cleartrip, redBus, Goibibo, Zomato, etc.
On the other hand, PayUmoney is the consumer business of PayU India and has a wallet solution for consumers and payment acceptance solution for SMB businesses, which has now changed into a green-colored logo. PayUmoney has two propositions. It is a wallet solution for customers and is accepted at over 65,000 merchants including the likes of BookMyShow, Jabong, Goibibo, Domino's, etc.
