'Online to Offline' Loyalty Platform Plink, Raised $3 Mn

Plink is an online-to-offline rewards program that motivates members to make offline purchases. Plink was Co-Founded in 2011 by Peter Vogel (Sales and Business Development) and David Asseoff (Chairman). The company has received a total funding of $3 Mn through Grotech Ventures.

This video gives you an overview of Plink:

How does it work?

  • Link your credit or debit card.
  • You select where you want to eat or shop, and Plink activates those offers on your credit or debit card.
  • Earn Plink Points when you make purchases at any of their 35000 partner locations.
  • Redeem points for cash and gift cards.

Currently, the smallest gift card you can cash out for is a $5 gift card, and that requires 500 points. $10 gift cards cost 1,000 Plink points and $25 gift cards are 2,500 points. To redeem, login to your account and click the Rewards link in the upper, right-hand corner. When you have enough points to redeem the denomination circles will turn green. Just click on the corresponding denomination circle and that will order the reward. Rewards are generally emailed to you within 24-48 hours.
