Seamless, Europe’s most used mobile payment solution, has launched a digital cash register for its SEQR payment solution. The solution offered by the company will enable small enterprises and private individuals to receive payments without the need for a physical card reader and high transaction costs. The solution will settle the payments into the seller’s account.
As stated in the company’s press release, the new service will be integrated into the SEQR app and will be included under the MyShop section, which helps users to market and sell their products and services free of charge on digital channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Tumblr.
“With the digital cash register in SEQR, combined with our MyShop service, small enterprises and private individuals now have a powerful solution at their fingertips for selling and marketing their products,” said Peter Fredell, CEO of Seamless, in company’s press release.
“Services such as iZettle and Square require investments in hardware and involve high fees and complicated application processes. However, our solution makes hardware solutions obsolete and unnecessary. Furthermore, SEQR provides fast and easy settlement ensuring users receive payment without delay.”
In August 2015, the company expanded geographically by entering the US. Earlier this year, SEQR extended its arm to five additional European countries. Now, the company is present in 10 countries strengthening its position as one of the leading European mobile payment providers. Globally, SEQR offerings have high-value propositions for both consumers and retailers. Adding the US to its portfolio of countries, SEQR will now work strategically towards penetrating the market.
SEQR offerings include low-cost and secure alternatives to payments offered by traditional card companies for merchants which are capable of all types of payments whether online or within the physical world. SEQR is an all-in-one solution for consumers.
