1. PayU Money launches Wallet Services for Online Shoppers:
PayU India announced the launch of its wallet service – ‘PayUMoney Wallet’ for online shoppers in India. With PayUMoney, a consumer can pay through normal payment methods like credit card, debit card or netbanking account.
2. Vodafone Partners MoneyGram on M-Pesa Remittances:
Vodafone has struck a deal with MoneyGram which will enable people to transfer funds directly from around 200 countries to users of the M-Pesa mobile money service. Consumers will be able to send money to M-Pesa accounts from MoneyGram's 334,000 agents around the world as well as from the firm's Web site and through its mobile apps.
3. Paycorp, PayPal integrate to provide customers with greater payment flexibility:
Payment provider PayPal has announced that its online and mobile payment services will be integrated into Paycorp, a provider of enterprise payment processing solutions. Through the technology alignment, Paycorp will be able to process and deliver transactions to PayPal for various market verticals and merchant categories. As a result PayPal payments will be integrated into some of Paycorp's existing payment solutions including RentPay which is used by real estate agents to process rent payments.
